Golf – Sunday June 20, 2010, starting at 11:03 am

Join us for a round of golf at Fox Meadow in Stratford, PEI. Fox Meadow is a 10 minute drive from downtown Charlottetown. Tee off times have been booked for: 11:03 a.m., 11:12 a.m., 11:21 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 11:39 a.m. and 11:48 a.m. Cost for golf is $62.00 and includes green fee, golf cart and range balls. You can also rent Cobra clubs for $40.00.

CAFCE President’s Opening Reception – Sunday June 20, 2010 from 6:30-10:00 pm

This conference kick-off will be held in the Art Gallery at the Confederation Centre of the Arts. With beautiful high ceilings and an open concept, this space will give you a wonderful opportunity to see old friends, network with new colleagues, and enjoy some nibblies and beverages. You will even get the chance to pose for a picture with the one-and-only Anne of Green Gables.

A shuttle service will be available to take you to the President's Reception - leaving Andrew Hall at 5:30 and 6:00 p.m.

Down East Lobster Supper & Silent Auction - Tuesday June 22, 2010 from 6:00 – 11:00 pm
 

We’ll be taking a little road trip to New Glasgow, PEI, approximately 45 minutes outside of Charlottetown, for a down east kitchen party. To start the evening off right, we are asking delegates to bring their musical talents and instruments for a sing-a-long during the ride out to New Glasgow. Once we arrive, enjoy traditional fiddler Mike Pendergast, the band Vintage and a delicious meal. Remember to bring your cash or cheques for the silent auction!

Transportation will be provided for the New Glasgow Lobster Supper leaving from Andrew Hall at 5:30 p.m. and returning to UPEI and the Confederation Centre of the Arts at the end of the evening.

  
Photo Scavenger Hunt – Sunday June 20 – Tuesday June 22, 2010 at 5: 15pm
 

During the conference, we will ask you and 3 teammates to embark on a mini-photo shoot around Charlottetown. You will need to take a total of 10 photos as outlined by the social committee. The rules and list of photo sites will be given to you when you register on Sunday June, 20. In the event of a tie, points will be granted to photos that demonstrate creativity, originality and fun.
