Do you know what your kids are doing on the web?
The Canadian Media Awareness website is an excellent resource for discourse on the issues surrounding the incursion of media in our lives, particular the Internet. Let's do a quick survey of you before we look at the site:
- How many of you have children between 6 and 16?
- How much time did your child spend on the Internet last night?
- How many of you know "a great deal" or "a fair bit" about what your child does while online?
- How many of you have "set rules" for Internet use for your child?
- How many of you think that your child has actually met in person someone who s/he first met on the Internet?
