Every day millions of Canadians struggle to have enough nutritious food to feed themselves and their families. It is a problem that negatively impacts the health of our communities. But this problem is a solvable one. Many organizations across Canada have been working with others across the country to build solutions. The Nova Scotia Participatory Food Costing Project provides much needed credible and current data on the cost and affordability of a nutritious diet in Nova Scotia. This evidence can help inspire communities to come together for community dialogue and action, and policy change.
